Youth Voices for Peace

During the 2023 general elections in Liberia, AYF Liberia launched the "Youth 4 Peace" project titled "Raising Youth Voices for Peace." The project aimed to create a platform for young people to actively engage their communities in promoting peace during the electoral period. Throughout the election season, the initiative successfully elevated the voices of youths, using social media as a powerful tool to convey messages of nonviolence and encourage citizens to avoid electoral violence. The platform engaged over 5,000 young through open dialogue and online discussions, fostering a sense of unity and responsibility among the youth demographic.
